| We have been unblocking drains throughout Manchester today including Sefton drive Worsley. The issue was a toilet that whenever flushed the water level would rise and then slowly return to back to its original water level. We first attempted to jet the drain with high pressure water to free the blockage but we could not get to the toilet from the manhole to clear the blocked drain/toilet. First we had to remove the pipe at the rear of the toilet to gain access to see where the blockage was, in this case once we removed the pipe we could see that the seal that connects the pipe to the toilet had slipped and was obstructing the waste water and collecting toilet paper. Once we had moved the seal we then re seated seal and flushed the toilet to test, at this point we asked the customer to visually inspect our work. Finally we run a dye test to prove the drain is free flowing and is fit for purpose. |    |
