| Today we have been cleaning and unblocking your drains on Woodlands road, Crumpsall, Manchester. We cleared a blocked drain and manhole that had been backing up for a long time, the customer had rented the property out to a tenant. The occupier had been using and disposing baby wipes and nappies down their toilet. The customer directed us to a manhole which was full of waste water and wipes. We used our high pressure water jetting unit to jet the drain which was blocked with baby wipes. After jetting the drain for 30 minutes the blockage was cleared and the manhole water level dropped and all drains ran free. Once every thing has been carefully checked we will then test the drain with the customer present to ensure that the drain has been cleared and is fit for purpose. We deal with this type of job on a daily basis and clearing blocked drains will take no longer than one hour with the correct equipment and experience.
