We attended this job yesterday on Manchester road, Tyldesley, Wigan we was told that the downstairs toilet was backing up and overflowing.
| The toilet was backing up and the water level would remain high in the toilet. Usually the blockage will be in the toilet itself or in the immediate pipework behind the toilet. If not the blockage will be in the sub surface drains and will need to be unblocked from an access point like a man hole or rodding eye. In this case the drain needed to be unblocked from the man hole, we use high pressure water to remove the blockage and any remaining deposits. In this particular case we jetted the drain for around 40 minutes to remove the blockage, the cause of the blockage was baby/face wipes, this is a common problem in drains and prolonged use often leads to blockages.
